Richard A. Brown
Richard A. Brown is the Managing Partner at Plexus Ventures LLC, a healthcare advisory firm established in 1990 with a presence in the US, Europe, and Japan.
With his robust background in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology sectors, Richard specializes in product marketing, sales, market research, business development, licensing, and management of country operations. Since 2006, he has been leading the Asia Regional Office in Tokyo, overseeing in- and out-license projects, and engaging with companies across Asia, the US, and Europe.
At Plexus, Rich also manages the Innovation Team working on cutting-edge projects in Cell and Gene Therapy, as well as precision oncology, including Antibody-Drug Conjugates (ADC). His team focuses on developing pre-deal documentation, creating compound forecasts and valuations, and utilizing Plexus' proprietary licensing process to achieve clients' business development goals. Rich’s career began at Eli Lilly and Company, where he held various senior roles in business development and market research.
Richard holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and an A.B. in Russian Language and Literature from Dartmouth College.
